I, personally don't believe it is genetically set. I believe it way more complex than that. Personal experiences, and probably body chemistry. I wouldn't mind if there was a "gay gene", because I strongly believe it is randomly activated if it would exist, maybe to prevent overpopulation, BUT I really don't want it to be proven in these dark times. Mankind is far from accepting "genetically determinated homosexuality", and therefore, I won't believe anyone who says so, because I am worried this might be propaganda/justification for abuse. This is not a happy hippie world, regardless how much you scold people for "wrong think". People will murder, harass, bann, etc people for their opinions or sexual preferences, just think of yourself there when you attack me for not believing you.

You're the best proof there is no way we can and should say "yeah there's a gene for being gay", because people like you will always say "aha, that's wrong, let's remove it". Wouldn't you love to remove my genes of wrong think.
