The best thing about drugs is just how many different highs there are!

Okay, prepare for a stoner ramble, but I am 80% convinced that the states some drugs take me to are ones I last felt as a toddler or infant. You were exploring your own brain more than even the outside world then, and didn't even understand something as basic as object permanence.

I remember what sitting in my grandmother's house as baby felt like, and I swear that rolling, blissful calm had something opiate like to it. That full freedom from even knowing what responsibility, time, or self-consciousness even are.

Likewise, I remember having emotions towards things like Disney cartoons which were totally unlike an adult - a mysterious, surreal, weird feeling of novelty. That one's where psychedelics take me.
