Best Thread/Programs for Quant Finance

Intel + (Theory / SysArch) is a good bet in general for quant.

Intel mainly for its exposure to stats / lin alg, if your serious about it I would orient more electives in that direction. It will also get you exposed to dealing with a lot of data and modeling things which is generally helpful.

Theory is good if you want to be more high level with modeling - it gives a good background for how to think about underlying algorithms and how to approach complex problems that may not have closed form solutions.

Systems is good if you’re more attracted to the low latency market making kind of trading. In that case learning C++ / Networking / how a computer works will give you good priors when you’re designing strategies.
