My mother told me her godfather got shot after a road rage incident. Godfather and his wife were going home from a wedding and on the way back, he got into an argument with another driver and the second guy pulled out a gun and shot him to death in front of his wife.

Another story involved my uncle. I can't remember the exact details but when he and the other driver pulled over on the side of the road, the guy walked over to his window and pointed a gun at him. He thought he was gonna get killed right there and then. He said he begged and apologized to his would-be killer. Thankfully, the guy left and my uncle said he's been careful driving ever since.
