Best- Me and my buddy who got me into golf for paired up with a 60 year old guy named Terry. He was a great partner with a lot of funny stories, was patient with me which I appreciated because it was one of my first rounds ever, and even gave us both a cigar. Since then, every older guy we get paired up with turns into Terry by the third hole. And none of them have asked us why we're calling them Terry.

Worst- Again me and my friend get paired up with a guy who was probably almost 70. It was about 100 degrees and he was wearing long pants and a sweater. He had some sort of growth on his right arm which he tried to keep covered but it would show every time he hit a shot and it was really gross. So this turned into us referring to him as Gross arm Terry. He hit an ancient 2 iron from the ladies tees on every hole. He was really awkward and kept telling us we should be playing from ladies tees (we were doing just fine from where we were). And he almost killed a goose by line driving it in the wing.
