I don't actually have a statistic, but I'd be willing to bet more children die of gang violence, too. But hey, let's blame a sporting rifle and the upstanding citizens that own them, rather than going after the actual people who are literally the problem with most of the violence. Wouldn't want to stop coddling their constituents, now would they.

That's what infuriates me the most about this anti-gun politics. They genuinely don't care about actual gun violence or they would realistically focus on the areas that are legitmentally bad, which is the violent criminal culture that they are babying. Which honestly wouldn't require creating more draconian gun laws. It would require making our education system actually include teaching some of these communities morality and ethics.

But hey, it's feels before reals with these people.
