Bethany says in comments on her page “I always have to stick myself bc nurses can’t get the needle in”

That seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen. Maybe it’s just my area but I’ve never heard of that. Maybe my area is just more concerned about being sued than other places. If they really couldn’t get a stick, they would make the patient drink lots of water and eat something (if possible) and try again in 30 minutes.

From personal experience, I’m a hard stick , like i really only have one good vein and it rolls if I’m even slightly dehydrated. I was giving birth and they needed to move my IV bc it kept occluding in my good vein but because I hadn’t eaten anything in over 24 hours, it took them an hour and 3 different nurses to get it moved.
