BEWARE OF THE CARTEL IN TULUM.

Had the worst experience at Zamna! Was walking and before I knew it someone was aggressively digging through my purse (cheap $10 purse not flashy or anything) behind me. I Just yanked my purse back bc the last thing i wanted to do was get in a fight with the wrong person. Luckily I had my bf hold my id and card in his wallet but I did get my sunglasses stollen lol. Everyone is offering you drugs at every corner which made me feel uncomfortable bc I was saying no but also was fearful to piss someone off for rejecting. I will say that if you simply say “no thank you” they don’t care they just move on. One guy tried pulling me towards him at the bar while my bf was buying water which was SO scary, thank god my cousin who’s a big guy was there to protect me. Another guy was fully holding my hand while I was walking it was SO scary LOL Guys treat women like a piece of meat and that honestly made me so uncomfortable, I couldn’t be myself. I didn’t want to dance, move, or make eye contact with the wrong person which sucked bc I’m outgoing and have a free spirit so I just had to hold back. Ladies, don’t call too much attention to yourself. Take your ID with you if you go out and leave your passport at home. The taxi was $70 for a 3 minute ride. My vodka Red Bull was 650 pesos. The prices didn’t bother me too much since it’s a fest and everything is expected to be expensive, just adding to help out. Over all, I will notttttt be returning to rave in Tulum absolutely NOT.
