First of all, if you have not reached the endings, I strongly suggest you refrain from listening to this song and other soundtracks. Music is a very integral part of this game, so the mood should be reserved for your first experience.

The credit song "Weight of the World", is simply amazing, wouldn't you agree? While I love every version of it -some slightly more than a certain one cough ^English cough- I am particularly drawn to the Japanese version.

It started with the title 「壊レタ世界ノ歌」, "Song of a Broken World", which as you can see, is rather different than "Weight of the World". I was curious about the difference between the versions, thus prompted me to this poor attempt at translating the lyrics.

At first glance I thought it was roughly 9S' song to 2B, but by the end I realized its connection to 2B's line: "Is this a curse? Or is it punishment?", and the fact that this song plays during Ending B, linking into the emotional events of Route C/D's first hour..

Anyway, see for yourself. And if anyone expert in Japanese could spare the time to correct my mistakes here and there, it would be a valuable lesson! (I gave up on trying to make it rhyme 10 minutes in.. and went with a slightly figurative style)
