I'm missing the link between your first and second paragraphs. A considerable amount of people who follow the salafy method in Indonesia are not opposed to the current government. Likewise, they are also not fond of the oppositional candidate. Regardless of Saudi politics and their international stance, proper adherence to the Prophet's sunnah would dissuade open criticism towards the government. That includes the current governmen. Which is why the argument above is contradictory. Perhaps the Saudi ambassador doesn't have access to Prabowo, and thus, he uses Twitter. Surely an ambassador would likely be more in contact with the current rulers of the country as there would be many proper avenues of communication open to him. Thus, removing the need to follow the president on twitter in order to know what he's up to or what he's thinking.
