Beware the Yellow Yangist Menace: We do not need socialim to replace jobs that will be "gone forever"

I'm fine with machines replacing tedious work. More often than not, it's mind-numbing repetitive tasks that are automated away. It's neither meaningful nor dignified. Why not have jobs that'll be gone forever?

I'm not without some type of eugenics program as well. No jobs and UBI is a horrible outcome IMO for a number of reasons.

  • No sense of contribution or service to the community.

  • Promotes animosity or can even create the idea of an entirely separate class (workers/nonworkers).

  • Free time and free money equals more kids. This is dysgenic.

I support a UBI even in the form of a make work program. Build awesome things: libraries, schools, public buildings, etc. We can build them in a way private industry won't. Traditional and timeless architecture that we've lost due to refusing to do anything without profit incentive.

Even if you're basically retarded and handicapped but you can press a button and spin a cement mixer you and your community will know you helped build that amazing courthouse, library, or school.
