BF%? I’m having trouble getting rid of that lower belly fat. Been trying keto and fasted cardio for a few weeks but not seeing much of a difference. Any suggestions?

Keto works and be really effective at burning fat. I still keto and intermittent fast to this day. When I was 103kg I lost 17 kg in 7 weeks. But I find a lot of, or perhaps all, the people who try it and dont see results aren’t doing it properly.

Eating primarily fat (75% fat, 20% protein, 5% net carbs on average) can seen unnatural or wrong especially when you have the idea of losing weight in mind. As a result people tend to still eat fat, but not enough and get like 40% fat consumed in a day. This is worse because you’re consuming a bunch of fat but aren’t reaping the rewards you get from ketosis.

Whats your diet look like? Every meal should be primarily a fuckload of fat. Heaps of fatty bacon in an egg and bacon wrap (with low carb wraps) is good, just not every day cos saturated fat. A half or a full avacado with some lean meat and/or veggies. Some almond or brazil nuts.

If you fast and eat enough fat, it WILL work. You iust need to ensure you are consuming no sugar/carbs, well as little as humanely possible and stay as deep under 50 grams of carb/sugar as you can.

You should get the diabetic-like machine where you can prick the blood from your finger and it tells you your ketone level. It lets you know if your diet and ketosis is actually working and taking place. Doesnt cost much.
