As for making assumptions about her personality, I'd say she was a leader, a national honor student, involved in college outreach courses at Purdue and interested in crime solving and photography. I was interested to see she'd signed up to take welding. Go girl, in my day we wouldn't have been allowed to take shop type classes. She played baseball and encouraged her friend to join her. I'd say she sounds like a strong girl focused on doing good. I'd have been so proud of her, though I must admit I didn't know her firsthand.
