Bi-weekly /r/Nikon discussion thread – have a question? New to the Nikon world? Ask it here! [Monday 2018-08-27]

Hi,

I'm looking to upgrade, I have a Nikon d3100.

I like to take photo of animals, landscapes, skylines, flowers. I also would like to be in my photos. I manually do bracketing and would love to have a camera that can do that. I also tend to set up a tripod and run to be in the photo. I would love to be able to see how the photo looks on my phone and then take it instead of running to make it in time. I mainly use manual but occasionally I still use the athletic setting and macro.

I have a prime lens and a 55-300 plus the kit lenses. I have an idea of the camera I might get but would love to hear what more experienced people think I should get.
