Biden to ABC's David Muir: 'I would shut [country] down' to prevent spread of COVID-19 if scientists recommended

You and I both know that no matter what I present, you're simply going to go "orange man reeeeee."

Yes, I will agree that as we opened back up, deaths started to increase, but they've also started to decrease again.

Extrapolating the charts I'm seeing, we'd probably STILL need to be closed down like things were in April in order to approach zero at the end of next month, and there's no guarantees that it wouldn't start right back up again with the fall/winter cold season.

Do you understand what that means? The economy would still be closed. Restaurants, stores, offices, they'd all still be closed. Do you honestly believe the country's economy would handle that? Do you understand how many people have lost jobs? How many have none to go back to? Or would you rather we just close the country down forever? Your own experts predicted that 2.2M people would be dead in the USA.
