Biden administration announces new $2.5 billion security aid package for Ukraine

Equivalent to a USMC helicopter carrier, yes.

The only countries with anything close to a US super carrier are the PRC, France, and the UK. And both the Gerald Ford and Nimitz versions are quite literally twice the size of any of those, sans the PRC's soviet + soviet-derived carriers, which have... dubious capabilities, given Russia's version of it.

That said, it's really not an understatement to say that a single USN carrier is equivalent in size and capability to most countries air forces. And we have 11 of them, 10 of which are currently operational.

And the USMC / Navy has 9 more of them, ie. helicopter carriers / amphibious assault ships. Which are, again, roughly equivalent in terms of capabilities to just about every other country's aircraft carrier (ie. VTOL fighters + helicopters with a ~30 fighter air wing, etc)

So yeah, could well be true that the US has the single biggest army in europe, between its propositioned stuff in storage, its military bases, and local CVN group. France and the UK wouldn't be far behind though.
