You constructed a scenario saying you couldn't cross that doesn't apply to people guaranteed entry under the Constitution, then claimed that didn't apply to you when it did.

You may not consider yourself an American, but your PR status makes you essentially an American for many things under the Constitution, including the very convoluted scenario you created to explain how "fucking stupid" the rule is.

It took me two seconds to find a source, and I understand how PR and citizenship are treated for entry, despite being neither.
