Biden reverses Trump last-minute attempt to freeze $27.4 billion of programs

True, it would be nice for Congress to have some ability to compel the executive branch into action, but it is difficult to do so without placing too much power in the hands of Congress. If you have instances we have seen in some states where a Democrat is elected governor with a majority GOP legislature that then hamstrings the governor before they take office. It’s difficult to balance like I said.

I think the Parliamentary system has a number of flaws. I’m not sure if you’ve ever watched the UK parliament convene and seen how much of a cluster fuck that is and how bogged down it can get in ceremony and tradition instead of governance. I also take some issue with how Prime Ministers a chosen, because it puts too much power in the hands of the legislature and them to act in good faith as a body to appoint an appropriate executive.
