• Boosters shots immediately upon FDA approval
• Vaccine requirements for federal workers, contractors, and all healthcare workforce at facilities that receive Medicare/Medicaid payments
• Large venues requiring proof of vaccination or testing
• Requiring employers to provide PTO for workers to get vaccinated
• Expanding free, at home tests
• Expanding PPP loan forgiveness
• Expanding use of monoclonal antibody treatment for those who are unvaccinated
• Lots of stuff for education/schools but the language is unclear what exactly is the executive action. Would love for someone explain this to me
Overall, I think this plan is to get all the unvaccinated people who would never vote for Biden to get the jab. The administration is tired walking on eggshells with a bloc that would never check the box for him, so he’s gonna put an end to the pandemic despite the politics behind it (which I fully support). Just my personal theory.
