Biden says women dropping out of workforce, closed schools are "national emergency"

I am personally a male who went down to 10 hours a week to take care of my daughter because we don't want to send her to day care in the pandemic. My wife is back to working full time. We have a close friend where a father (emergency room doctor) is taking significantly more leave than he otherwise would also to figure out childcare.

Maybe it's just the circle I run in, but I feel like millennials are less likely to default to moms staying at home. In that sense, I feel like the presentation of this issue may be a bit more gendered than it has to be. But maybe I'm just in a bubble and 95+% of stay home parents are women, so I'm not worth mentioning? Id be curious to see the stats.
