Except it demonstrably is different. You buy a charger that accommodates the highest-wattage device and use that for everything. It’s just like using USB-A chargers where some prefer higher wattage chargers. Nothing has changed. This point is weak.

Meanwhile, a separate plug design completely different from all of my other devices requires, get this, a completely different cable, while still using the exact same charger.
