Excuse me, please do not make assumptions about me based upon a question I asked. I didn't ask it in a "dickish" manner. Further, I am not the one that's causing problems. I'm allowed to ask a question as I see fit. I will not ignore my curiosities simply because they make you feel uncomfortable. This is a theme that has been brought to the national conversation and public accounting firms have taken certain political stances as evidenced by the rainbow flag on my old firms logo on LinkedIn. I am interested in how they are dealing with it since they've taken certain positions.

Further, if you can't converse with people that may or may not have different opinions than yourself, you will have a have a difficult time professionally.
