The BIG Changes - Viewer Discretion Is Advised.

I'm a doctor and yes I remember the heart being on the left side of the body, as I was always taught. I was taught that the heart is on the left side of the chest. I mean, this is why people get left arm pain and grab their left arm when they are having a heart attack. This is why we wear our wedding rings on our left fingers because its closest to our hearts. (That's a big one huh) and it's also why we place our hand over our left side when doing the pledge of allegiance. But there's many more medical things that go with it, like if I have a patient who's having chest pain I'll always ask if they have left arm pain, left jaw pain, or left neck and back pain as well, which are all possible warning signs of an infarction. This is actually what made me start this whole Mandela effect thing, we got some new posters in the emergency room and they were anatomy posters, hung up on the wall, and I actually never noticed the heart being in the center of the chest on these new posters until...one day... I was treating a patient for chest pain... Turns out she wasn't haven't a heart attack, it was just the muscle around her heart that was causing her pain and mimicking heart attack symptoms. I went to look on the wall to point and show her where this muscle was, and I was like "wow they messed that poster up" because the heart was in the center. I played it cool with the patient. Afterwards later in the day when I had time I was eating something with a colleague of mine while taking a break, and I told him how the new poster in the fast track exam room was misprinted and it was bothering me. We took a walk over there and I tried to show him but there was a patient in the room...I asked if we could peak in the room for a min , and the patient allowed us to. And I showed him. We said thank you and walked out. My buddy and colleague friend of mind was shocked as well. So we went on to tell another buddy of our and all the nurses at the nurse station to talk to the people who ordered the anatomy posters cause they were wrong. Needless to say.. It ended it only 1 nurse out of 12 or so , agreeing with us about the heart being on the left, and everybody else just laughing, as well as two other doctors we knew laughing at us, and one of them proceeded to tell me and my buddy (colleague) To cut out the horse games and to quit being goofballs and get back to work lol... We kept looking serious, and he said okay boys... You truly think this don't you? And when he saw we did, he was very concerned. He was kinda a dick about it, and we never really said anything else about it. Me and my buddy found out that the posters weren't wrong and apparently it's always been this way! I went home the next day and asked my wife to get out my medical books from the closet in our garage, and I sat out there stunned by my old class books... Sure enough the heart was in the center and always has been. I called my buddy and left a message telling him. And when he got back with me, he told me he too checked his med books that he studied and it has changed too, and needless to say... We were so shocked it made me sick to my stomach, me and my buddy STILL are shocked about this and we have been talking a lot about it and doing some research when we can. We also decided together to NOT ever mention this to anyone we know again, cause clearly something has changed here and NOBODY is aware of it. I did go back and ask the nurse that agreed with us, cause she's my daughters friend from college and hangs out with my daughter sometimes... And the strangest thing is she can't remember saying she "agreed" with us... So tell me that isn't odd huh!!!!! But anyways, this is a very odd story I know. And I've already spent more time than I have today sharing it with you, so I hope it helps you some. It's not just you, it's doctors like myself who know this shit is off. And I hope to have answers for it someday, but until then I guess I'll just be treating people and their hearts in the CENTER of their body. Thank Goodness I'm not a heart surgeon I guess huh lol. I've made a totally new account here just to say this, cause I don't want any controversy tied to my actual Reddit account, so I really hope you find this useful. I just can't stress enough how sure I am of this.

-thanks for reading, and good luck with your research.
