Big JoD problem - need help!

It's not an EIP, it is still a lease, you just cannot upgrade anymore. You will pay the lease monthly until it runs out and then you may return the phones or buy them out. That's what happens when you use lifetime coverage guarantee to port out a line but keep the lease on the original account no longer attached to that line. It loses the ability to perform any more jumps.

There was a loophole mentioned that you could have taken advantage of. By upgrading your phones and returning your current ones and then cancelling the upgrades to clear the leases completely you would be free of any lease and could close out your original account completely once porting over your numbers and EIP to a new account. You could then start new leases on the new account allowing you to continue jumping. Since you did not take advantage of that, you must now pay for that line on the original account and the remaining balances of the phones still on it as they can no longer be jumped so you can no longer take advantage of the upgrade loophole. If you don't want to keep paying for that line on the original acxount, you can choose to just pay off the leases in full.
