Biggest Fault with AW

In my opinion the biggest problem with AW is that the game rewards raw aim more than it should. Before I talk about a few key points I want to say that having good raw aim will bail you out of bad plays in virtually every FPS title, however it AW's case it does a bit too much.

What I consider to be raw aim is a player's ability to snap shot onto a player at any given time especially in a scenario where they did not fully anticipate their position. Other components of aiming in CoD are:

*Centering - which is keeping your unscoped crosshairs centered around the player you are targeting.

*Pre aiming - the ability to anticipate where a player is coming from based off a callout or instinct and to be scoped in that position.

*Pre firing - shooting a corner milliseconds before a player turns it.

*Positioning - placing yourself in a position on the map where you are more likely to kill your opponent than he is to kill you

Excelling in those components of aiming were much more beneficial in past titles and required more game knowledge and smarts aside from having great raw aim. While people with better raw aim would still win gunfights against you even if you out played them, the chances of them winning the fight were much more slim than they are in AW. I believe the reason for much is not so much the exos themselves but rather the speed, verticality, and rate you can use them. Obviously this is something that cannot be changed especially this late in the life of the game but I just wanted to share my thoughts and say that Bops3 looks like it reduced all of those exo factors in return rewarding smarts to a greater extent than raw aim.
