As a converting Jewish person, the original hebrew text does in fact say "Man shall not lie with man, for it is an abomination (meaning detestable or disliked. Fun fact, The Egyptians in the Torah call those who work as shepards as abominations too. This is important because people think "abomination" is the ultimate disgust and not allowed when it likely just has a different cultural context at the time and how some things not normal were described.)

Also, it's debated whether or not a man CAN actually lie with a man like they would a woman. Does a man have the same genitals as a woman? No? Then how can you lay with a man like a woman? You would need a new "act" and new "positions" doing different things. If you ask me, two men having sex doesn't give me "yeah this is what straight sex looks like!" vibes. Lastly, even in the "ultra orthodox" area, some will allow gays and gay relationships even, BUT the act of "PENETRATION" is the forbidden part. You can do plenty of OTHER things, just no penetration, as the fact is "Penetration" happening is the only similar part of regular straght-person sex.
