Biking doctor struck by Lexus in California, then allegedly stabbed to death by driver; bystanders detain suspect

Because the shitty ones really are fucking annoying.

I crossed a road walking to work and it was a little bit down from a hill. As I stepped out a guy on a bike fucking flew down and just barely missed me as I jumped back. He was easily doing twice the (low) speed limit for the area.

When I mentioned this to a coworker who was big into riding, he maintained this was my fault, despite the guy not being visible when I stepped out and going well above the speed limit which was no doubt picked so that cars would see people crossing the road at that point.

I'm sure most people who ride bikes are just fine. But the entitled morons who think they're entitled to the roads yet immune from all the rules really do paint the rest of them poorly.
