i never could put my finger on it why i don't like bill burr. probably his smug attitude and the way he is talking about sitting in the crowd not hearing a single intelligent thing being said. dude was at an nba final, something i'll probably never see in person and still finds a way to bitch about it giving his narrative a cause like he is entitled to see a competitive game. this is not how it fucking works. expecting a 7 game series with twists and turns, miraculous fairy tale comebacks and last second finishes is setting you up for disappointment. everybody complains about the lack of competition claiming the warriors broke the nba. it's not like they've been fucking cheating or anything. the shit about KD switching to the team he lost the year before is ridiculous acting like he left OKC after playing one season for them. he was looking for the best opportunity to win after 8 years with the thunder. it was the fucking warriors and they made it happen. kudos to them. lebron was looking for the best opportunity to win as well when he went to miami. every fucking body does who cares about having a ring. no one is going to put himself willingly into a worse position to win. i actually think this trade was the best fucking trade ever made but fake ass "old school" people like burr talking like it was served on a silver platter to them giving examples of how magic or bird would've never done something like that. you can't seriously tell me that the celtics lakers rivalry is comparable to the thing the warriors and the thunder had going. that shit is not even worth mentioning. maybe it would've been in the years to come but we'll never know i guess.
