Bill Maher gives a farewell to democracy before Tuesday’s elections.

nah, lots of people, especially dems tend to not vote, look at black people, they generally don't vote, Obama got them out to vote. people typically vote selfishly, but a vote for democracy is a selfish vote.

if trump takes power again it will start a civil war or he will be assassinated, but when democracies fall into anocracies they tend to have lots of civil wars. historically the "strongman" who starts the revolution is rarely the one who actually ends up in power at the end. look what happened in Rome with Julius Ceaser, he triggered the end of the republic but never took power himself, immediately after his assassination there was a civil war, and Gaius Octavius(Ceasar Augustus) ended up the first emperor of Rome.

trump will start a civil war, lose, and then someone else will take power, who that is or what their agenda is nobody can say. however i would be willing to bet it would be some extreme leftist as a reaction to trumpism and christo-facism. i think if trump wins in 2024, by 2030 they will be locking evangelicals in churches and burning the building down.
