Biofrost's future

Vrana is a tweener struggling to stick in the NHL. Biofrost is the equivalent of an second-pairing defenseman or third-pairing forward who has established himself in the NHL and played a valuable role on a successful team for a couple of seasons. There is absolutely zero equivalence. What you're suggesting is the equivalent of offering such a player a two-way contract and a spot in the AHL when he could easily secure a contract in the NHL with another team for better pay, certain minutes, and a significant role. Nobody in that player's position would accept such a silly offer, and no GM would ever bother proposing it.

It's a moot point now, because Bio is gone.
