I briefly tried hormonal birth control. I literally felt crazy while using it. Nothing bad happened, I just felt “out of my mind.” I stopped using it. Condoms only. I have heard the medical community praise birth control. Meanwhile, I have silently said “no” and rejected it. My sister recently went off hormonal birth control. She told her husband it is his turn to be responsible now. Hormonal birth control doesn’t work for many women. I have never understood why so many women voluntarily choose it while giving their partners a free pass. Yeah, a condom may not be his first choice, but it won’t make him fat, depressed, or suicidal.
