Do you think the birthright citizenship clause of the 14th Amendment (circa 1868) should be repealed for future births?

"Anchor babies" like me make up a good percentage of our military. Also, where the fuck do we go? I don't know shit about Honduras. My ass would be toast (and in pieces) because they'd hear my accent and think I have money If I ever went down there. I'm a taxpayer, a veteran, a very active and contributing member of my community. My father is now a naturalized citizen (the whole thing was ridiculous but he had such a hard-on for America) so I don't think I'm in any danger here but you have to keep in mind I very easily could have been in a different position. "anchor babies" had no choice in coming here, you guys need to fuck off with all that, all I know is 'murica. Everything you are hearing from the white house about this is propaganda. The caravan only grew because of media presence, it's only a few days worth of people. let that sink in. The whole baby in the cage meme that's been going around everyone thinks is fucking hilarious? not new. all this sudden outrage by a political party that helped create this problem? Doesn't make me feel better because that shit is not new. I gave my aunt and her baby a place to stay when she came here to seek asylum. They are going to kill her family if they ever go back because my aunt and uncle wouldn't allow their daughters to be raped. It was about a year and some change before their family was finally together stateside imagine not seeing your children for that long, imagine that you have no control over your situation or your children's. You are at someone's complete mercy, you're treated like a criminal. Those people left a paid off home, and a business because gangs feel free to take what they want. These gangs work for cartels, and since the coup d'etat Honduras is ripe for that. We helped create this and left the people to pay the price in blood. These are PEOPLE. Please don't allow yourself to be influenced. Make your own decisions and seek unbiased information. The US is hurting Education wise and we are turning away students/teachers, world class level professionals at a time where our country is no longer number one in any category except spending capital on defense. There is no incentive for "very refined people" to come here except party. "Lax" regulation btw would help actually track the people that come in and out and would help us catch bad guys. No one wants to be hiding in the country they live fearing police, fearing doctors, fearing even when they work. It's humiliating, but still people do it. That HAS to tell you something.
