Idk if maybe I’m touting some very obvious mindset but this is how I see it:

you are biSEXual if you like the idea of having SEX with either gender.

subsequently how you have that sex/what leads up to it is completely separated. aka romance, hookups, etc. but that is besides the point.

sex and love do NOT go hand-in-hand. because if they did, only aSEXuals would be valid and aROMANTICs would not be valid. but both are valid.

or, and this is my broad-spectrum mindset that i also believe many other people should look into, just love and fuck who you want to love and fuck and shut up about it. mind your own business and don’t share your own. simple. done.
