Bisexuals who have dated both genders. What little differences surprised you?

I'm Male

When dating, I'm crap at making the first move in case they're not into me, so when with a girl, it can take so long to even kiss! But with a guy, it's still 'acceptable' for them to make the first move.

Guys like to talk about their sexuality. I guess it's because queer is less common - they wanna share experiences.

Guys I tell I'm bi either say "Oh. Anyway, I was gonna watch a film tonight, you coming?" or "Ha. How weird, I can't imagine liking girls." But I'm often too afraid to tell women now. Had one who found it repelling. But since women don't really talk about sexuality so much, it's hardly ever going to come up. And I'm hardly going to be oogling other guys during a relationship - so it's better left unsaid.

Guys know how dicks work. They understand they go floppy. I always feel women judge (to begin with) the size of your dick based on when it's floppy!

After sex with a woman I'm new to, I get all self-concious about my naked ass. Not a problem with guys.

I feel more confident with women in public. (For obvious reasons) I hate PDAs, but especially so with guys.

Girls make a real effort for dates, and it's very apparent. Guys sling on a tee-shirt and head out. Fair enough... but it's still nice to try a little harder!

Girls are actually better/easier to judge a hello/goodbye with on first dates. Some guys go in for a handshake, some just nod their head with and "Alright?". But girls more often than not at least offer a hug.

Girls are (thankfully) more concious of their breath/hygiene. Guys think it's alright to sploosh everywhere, go to sleep, wake up and do it all again. I just find that a bit icky!

Sleeping with a guy is easier - you don't always have to be big spoon. You can just lay however you find comfortable and then they'll adjust their position accordingly. Women always seem to like to be little spoon.

Things I've noticed about myself:

I don't mind if women don't shave all the time. I've had a hairy guy before, so a bit of peachy fur on her isn't gonna turn me off! So I think they appreciate that.
