Coinbase allow other people to hack into my account and steal the bitcoin

I have a bitcoin account on coinbase and was not able to login however I tried. I got my password correct, but coinbase did not allow login by saying that it was a new device. I tried the verification process and still did not work. I eventually tried to call coinbase customer service but it was hard to get through. Today, I saw an alternative number of coinbase by googling coinbase phone number and the fake number (888-4551155) showed up as the third item. So I called to solve the problem.

The tricky part is that they were able to help me log in, which make me believe they were legitimate place. They then told me that the reason for me to not being able to login for so long time was because the wallet associated with my account was collapsed. They need to create a new account for me. So I followed the instruction to create an account. After that, they sent my bitcoin from my authentic coinbase account to their fake one.

The wired thing is that while I was not able to log into coinbase myself, they were able to by using some secrete seed. I do not know what that is, but he should have hacked coinbase somehow. I called coinbase about this, it seems they are redundant to take responsibility for the fact that they are allowing other people to help me login by using the coinbase secrete seed as they called it.
