Well I've been in since 2013 with btc and eth so I pulled out my original investment many times over. I still invest in it myself. So ive already made that free money you talk about.... And never did crypto promise sex haha, although I get and respect your rational skepticism this is also something to consider. If at the current market cap which is half of bill gates net worth btc costs 7k then if possible mass adoption does happen and one btc is worth over a million dollars, would you rather risk 7k for the chance at 1mill or not? You could even put a stop loss sell on at 6k just incase a big scary dip and that will minimize your loss to a mere grand.

I really do not see any other way forward for fiat that safeguards our money from a recession due to gov and massive debt. You see free sex and money, but most of us see taking gov, banks and the federal reserve out of the middle and not having to trust a businesses with our money. Banks are businesses that profit off our money, the federal reserve is also a multi billion dollar business. The gov will make nearky 100b for handing our money for us this year alone. It doesnt add up, crypto and blockchain removes trust from the whole situation. All in all I'd say it's a safe assessment that after four years of returns for me from a grand investment that it will.be safe and continue to grow.
