Biting and hitting

such a nightmare. my kid went through a real bad biting phase with me, he was drawing blood too. He would get so angry and frustrated and would just chomp me when I was trying to move him away from whatever thing he was trying to destroy/jump off of.

At this age, there isn't a ton you can do. They don't really understand. One thing that is always recommended is don't have a big reaction. They think it is interesting and it actually encourages the behavior.

Redirection is key, at this age, the best you can do is say no and tell them that it is not okay or kind to bite people. Eventually they learn to understand and you're setting the stage for that.

The bright side is most do outgrow it and within a few months. He never bites anymore.
