Thanks, I'd rather have a harsh reality than some kind BS.

The country I'm in does not have many CS opportunities, which is why I started the club, the best we have is the WRO regional round which we won. I'm also reading books around the subject, like the new Turing omnibus, but other than that we don't have a CS A-Level. Will it be beneficial for me to do a CS summer programme in the US?

I'm also not sure how the GPA is calculated as at an AS level the maximum grade is an A, so I'm not sure how to improve. I only have my AS predicted for now as I'm still in yr 12.

As a side note are you coming from the British based system and if you don't mind, could I know your results to get an idea of the level of a Cornell student. Thanks a lot for your reply and advice.
