The drug's a preg category B, i.e. No evidence of risk in studies

Per UpToDate: it "should only be used in pregnancy only if it is clearly needed, and it should be avoided during the first trimester"

DynaMed lists it under contraindications:

"pregnancy, first trimester, in patients being treated for trichomoniasis (immediate-release tablets, capsules)"

So my question: what's the right answer on a test, and also what's the right thing to do IRL?
