Still no exact date has been given on it or Tera. I haven't played BDO personally, but from what I've seen and looked into, just don't go into it expecting your more traditional MMO, in the styles of say FFXIV or WoW. I'll be playing it myself, and look forward to it, but def know what you're going into. That way you don't get your hopes/expectations set to high, or overhype yourself, since you are talking about engaging characters/story etc. It's different. To answer that last question, no, Jade Empire is not BC. I wish it were tho, as well as the second game. I never got to play JE2. The first one is still one of my favorite original Xbox games tho. I stare at my copy, waiting. Idk if it ever got a PC release or not, I'm not big on PC gaming, but at this point I might just have to check for it and the second one to hold me over. If it is ever BC I'll support the hell out of it tho, I'll rebuy both digital.
