Why are you so adamant to hurt me in some way? You won't, just to save you some time and effort... But listen, I've always held the stance that speed running is a collosal waste of one's time. That's my personal opinion and it's not an opinion exclusive to me. You don't have to agree with it or like it and you've made it very clear you don't. But that doesn't matter, as your opinion is separate from mine and each has no effect on the other. You see it as an achievement and a triumph of the human spirit. I see it as 7 months that could've been spent on an education, physical/mental health improvement, career advancement, etc.

That's not to say I haven't wasted time before, I'm wasting it right now typing all of this out for at most ten people to see, but it's the amount of time wasted on a single, monotonous, subject that irritates me so much. Because as humans we tend to superimpose ourselves with others to see how we'd feel if we had acted the same way. Empathising, in a sense, but instead of understanding their feelings we see how we would feel about placing ourselves in the same context given our own sense of judgement, accomplishment, morals, and so on. All that to say, to me it seems like a major waste of time. To you it doesn't. Two subjective points of view with no objective resolution, so we just have to leave it at that.
