Black man chews out cop for pulling him over with gun drawn over a missed turn signal

One time I had a puppy (prob 4 months) barking up a storm at my door (3 AM), so I got up to investigate and saw the puppy had a tag. Called the number on the tag several times, they didnt answer. So I decided to take the puppy back to their address.

On the way to their address, a cop creeps in front of me and puts the spotlight directly on my face as he comes to a direct stop. Without giving me any direction, he opens the door and while I'm blinded the puppy - which is on a retractable leash - goes to approach the door. I didn't see this because I had a giant fucking spotlight in my eye, but as soon as the cop saw the puppy approaching he (while keeping the spotlight on my face) pulled his gun and said "get your dog back or Ill shoot it".

So I dealt with that, he holstered his gun, then he had to nerve to ask if I was drunk - so I asked for a breathalizer (which never came - saying they didnt have one handy in the cars). He gave me the ol' "field test" which I passed with flying colors (I was slacklining heavily at the time, so it was kind of a joke to go through the test). He said my eyes were dilating so I laughed and said yeah, that's how eyes work when it's pitch black and theres a light shown in your eyes. He didn't believe me (put me in cuffs), so this guy held me up for 30 mins - until a real supervisor came (not his buddy who was "back-up") - to confirm that I wasn't involved in some "disturbance complaint" involving "a guy in an alley".

Cops can be complete dicks - luckily this guy actually looked he regretted what he did. I've met too many who have no regret for the blatant power trips.
