Black Man Films His Unfortunate Interaction With Cincinnati Police While Getting His Morning Coffee

It still has a solid case against the officer. Maybe not in court. But in the publics perception.

Nope, common sense tells you (as the bulk of the people who will view this video) that yelling at police, refusing all of their commands, acting erratically and unpredictably, and so on is grounds for lawful arrest.

I'm not even sure why you're trying to "spin" this - he fucked up and he fucked up bad. All validity is completely out of the window now. Nothing will happen to the officer and public opinion will likely favor the officer.

The thing that people in this thread can't seem to grasp - or understand - is that there are right ways and wrong ways of dealing with police encounters. It doesn't matter a hoot in hell whether you FEEL like an officer targeted you unfairly, the way you act in that situation is ALL that matters.

It doesn't matter whether or not you think it SHOULD be this way, all that matters is what IS this way.

The only way you can realistically help solve the problem is by exercising common sense - remaining calm, exercising your rights (by actually knowing them, which this man did not), and then following-up afterwards using the correct avenues.

But they should care. And you should care too. You should care more about the fact that this guy was probably profiled, and his anger and frustration because he's not a robot and was annoyed, then the officer, "just doing his job".

I don't really have respect for anybody who is unable to deal with situations without completely losing their shit. He was profiled - I don't think there's any doubt about that, but this man's idiocy ruined whatever validity his captured footage could have had, and again - that's his fault.

The majority of these profile cases and arrests that blow up in the media could have been COMPLETELY AVOIDED.

Again, I encourage you and everyone else to watch the 10 rules for dealing with police encounters: https://youtu.be/s4nQ_mFJV4I
