Blackrock Mountain Adventure Confirmed!

but compare that to QuarterMustard on 10 mana.

QuarterMustard only needs 2 cards instead of three and produces four 3/3s, one 2/5 and a 1/4 weapon instead of seven 3/1s.

So in stats: QuarterMustard gives you 16 damage on your current/next turn (4x3+2+2x1, since you can attack with the weapon immediately) and 17 points of creature health. So you could count it as 16/17 that is hard to clear, since everything has at least 3 health.

BoucingPatrons would give you seven 3/1s... that is 21 attack value and 7 hp that is easy to clear because every AoE in the game does it, even Swipe, Consecration, Nova, Pyromancer(!), Whirlwind...

So, yeah, it might seem neat and might even win you some games if the opponent really can't counter it, but in 99% of all possible situations i would strongly prefer QuarterMustard over BouncingPatrons...

The question of course is: Does Warrior need a Board Fill like that? Imho the answer is: No.

Usually one strenght of warrior is that it is relatively immune to AoE, since it usually plays few big minions instead of a swarm of weaklings. This means if you add one swarm to a deck that doesn't force opponents AoE earlier the opponent will almost always have an AoE card in hand by turn 10, since that card will be a "dead card" or at least very ineffective card for most parts of the game.

My conclusion: To make BouncingPatron(Shout) work you need to play an aggressive warrior deck. In a control warrior deck it probably won't really work.

Oh, and we should calculate if Commanding Shout is even a good idea. I honestly think that the combo could be more effective without it... the chance that it only spawn 2 patrons is

if you don't get really unlucky it should spawn 4-6 patrons most of the time. The chance that it only spawns 2 3/3s is 16.5%, if it goes beyond that it will almost certainly leave the board with 6 more-or-less-injured patrons, which should be way better than seven 3/1s. You have to keep in mind that undamaged patrons are a security against 2-damage-AoEs, since the opponent can't use 2-damage-AoEs while there are still 3 HP patrons on board...

Final conclusion: I would not add a commanding shout to the deck, it makes the combo probably weaker instead of stronger. But i would consider playing Armorsmith or adding a Battle Rage to the deck. Battle Rage would probably net you a 4 or 5 card draw on average after using the BouncingPatron-Combo, so that would indeed be a devastating turn 10 combo against an empty board or against a board with only very healthy opponent minions...
