Blake Griffin

Yup. Rome wasn't build in a day. Unless we're getting a good return there's no point in trading Blake just for the sake of doing so.

The FO was smart by saying they won't make a panic move, that applies it both directions. Trading Blake for Monk and garbage is just as much of a panic move as swapping our pick for Terry Rozier. Just rest Blake down the stretch, scout like hell and nail the pick cuz there'll be a stud regardless of where we're picking. Then you can start playing around the trade market with 3 sizable expirings. The only thing we should be doing at the current deadline is seeing if we can nab something for Bullock/Ish/SJ. If the Bruce/Khyri picks are any indication we might be able to get some decent potential in the 2nd round. Then try and find that late lottery star and then you can test the trade market with 3 sizable expirings and whatever we nabbed from trading those role players. The key is measuring expectations rather than making a big move and assuming the best case scenario will come out of it.
