I'm sure you got that from a very edited and cut up "commentary video" and not from watching any of his stuff from start to finish, like most of his critics.

He has never at any point suggested that people don't need support systems to overcome difficult tasks. He talks a lot about the Hero's Journey in some of his videos, about the typical progression of a hero in a story, and how the hero becomes a hero through the use of several support systems and characters.

So that right there just completely contradicts your attempt at criticism /u/hunkerinatrench.
