Blizzard bad

Actually that law was long overdue. You’ll find that the British agreed to having China pass this law during the handover. Literally ANY nation in the world has an anti sedition law. What kind of self respecting country wouldn’t have one? The law has some loopholes, I’ll admit, but afterwards life will continue normal for us. COntrary to what people believe, we don’t have an ardent desire to talk shit about China on a daily 24/7 basis, so life will not be changed drastically. Besides, do you know how bad things have gotten here? THere’s splinter groups of the protesters that have been planting bombs over the city and were found to possess military grade rifles that they intended to use on police and bystanders. THe thing is, they CAN”T BE SENTENCED FOR TERRORISM because there’s no law that decrees what terrorism and sedition are. Shit’s gone insane in Hong Kong. Freedom of speech is nice and all but not when your city is being trashed on a daily basis. You’ll also find that there’s a large number of people who support the passing of the law, namely 2 million citizens who signed a recent petition to support it. In a practical sense, the law is completley necessary to restore stability in the city. The legislature has been a lawless wasteland recently, where the pan-dem party filibustered for 6 whole months to prevent a Covid economic relief bill from being passed simply because it was supported by the opposition party.
