Blizzard to Fix Bugs That Weren't Fixed in Vanilla, Starting with Improved Weapon Totems

The amount of time and money invested into creating a new expansion vs reusing TBC is not comparable for what would likely be no real difference in profit. It's a bad business move. People have shown they're going to play classic anyways, and TBC is even more hyped than vanilla and will likely draw even more players. You're approaching this from the perspective that Blizzard would be smart to do this because it's what people want. That's not how Blizzard works. They are going to make the decision that makes the most sense for their bottom line. It would be exponentially more expensive for them to do classic+ than to just continue with TBC, and the number of players who want classic+ isn't even close to the number who want TBC. It's even less than the number who want wotlk. As long as they're getting the subscription for people with either retail or classic, there's no reason for the massive investment of classic+, and the number of players who won't subscribe for classic or retail but would subscribe to classic+ is not a number that would ever come close to breaking even for the cost of producing classic+.
