Bloc leader blames Singh for creating ‘divide’ between Quebec, rest of the country on racism

There's a pretty fucking good reason to oppose it when the party asking to step over the committee is the same one that actually asked for the committee to start working on the question! Try to turn it however you like, if it had been the conservatives asking Parliament to recognize systemic racism doesn't exist in the RCMP and to increase their budget while lowering non-police social intervention budgets you would have been pissed and have used the same arguments I'm using, namely that if a committee was asked to study a question, the Parliament shouldn't adopt conclusions before the committee submitted its report. What Singh tried to do was to show complete disregard for normal procedures and to skip debates on a motion that needs it because it involves a lot more then just recognizing there's an issue!
