I dread the day there is some kind of security compromise and users lose their money.

The project has been has been in development for over half a decade and running on mainnet since 2016. Our security has been put to the test every day since then. Beyond the fact that security of funds has always been a no-compromise priority, the entire player balance is guaranteed several times over.

We're hoping to have user-controlled wallets available sometime in 2021 (currently scheduled for Q2 although this could change) but it would likely come with a disclaimer that the funds wouldn't be guaranteed and that its up to the individual to ensure the safety of their money.
